18,000 gallons of oil spill into wildlife refuge

Petty Officer James Peterson collects samples of spilled oil in the Delta National Wildlife Refuge near Venice, La., on Tuesday.An oil pipeline operated by ChevronPipe Line Co leaked at least 18,000 gallons of crude oil into the Delta National Wildlife Refuge in Louisiana, the U.S. Coast Guard says.
